We provide equipment and processes to grow mushrooms at scale. Anyone can grow mushrooms with a CleanTec farm, regardless of previous experience.
CleanTec has developed a process for growing mushrooms to work in conjunction with our units. Whether you're new to growing mushrooms or a seasoned vet, we'll show you the process that we've found works best within our units. We teach you everything we know about growing mushrooms when you become a client.
Simple software and equipment make the equipment easy so that anyone, regardless of their current mushroom knowledge can grow mushrooms at scale with CleanTec Mushroom Farm systems.
We provide updates as your unit(s) are being built and personal support when they are delivered.
A CleanTec team member arrives on-site shortly after delivery to install pieces of the machine that have been stowed away for delivery. Our team member leads clients through operation of the equipment and software included.
Each of our team members is trained at our own facility and knows all the ins-and-outs of the machines and is very familiar with our mushroom growing processes.

Remote Climate Monitoring & Control via Mobile Application
Climate control systems like fans, heaters, humidifiers and sensors systems are pre-programmed to stay within set ranges. All equipment is monitored and controlled via software and mobile application.
Management and monitoring easy, even if you happen to be thousands miles away from the farm. And the software we use is also very simple with a well-designed interface.
Why recycled Semi-trailers and not containers?
5 Main reasons
Perfect Starting Base
The inside of a refrigerated semi trailer is built to carry food, with mold-resistant aluminum floors and insulated, fiberglass-reinforced-plastic walls and roof, the interior makes the perfect base for a mushroom farm.
Modular Design
While the inside of the units are a set design, they can be arranged in a modular fashion for easy expansion or special-use cases. This can also be a tactical advantage over time if you ever need to rearrange the farm setup.
No building permits
By law, because these are on wheels, our units are considered “machines” - which allow them to be placed on a property without having any approved building permits or inspections.
Semi trailers are in Surplus
There is a massive surplus of recyclable semi trailers with perfectly in-tact interiors that have been decommissioned from road use. Each of our units passes DOT inspection to ensure it’s safety before hitting the road for delivery.
Built to Last
While regular interior and exterior cleaning and equipment maintenance is required over time, these machines are built to last a lifetime. The exterior of the units along with equipment we use inside of the unit are carefully selected to withstand the elements, pushing our estimated lifespan for these units to over 50yrs. before they need a major renovation.
